Ancestor is hanging on to the #30 bestseller slot up here in Canada.
I ordered my copy yesterday at 9:05 am. But because free shipping is so tempting, I spent about an hour buying other crap as well and was late for work. This is what I ended up with: Ancestor by youknowhow, Savage Love by Dan Savage, Billibub Baddings And The Case Of The Singing Sword by some unknown author, and a bunch of anime dvds. Total: over $200.
Bastard.

@r0mer0: the price drop is because Amazon further discounts bestsellers, so a little bit after Ancestor broke the bestseller list, it got discounted even more (I think it was 25%, and then it dropped to 40%).

It was all a lure, but you lazy bastard, you cant just sit back on the money your making from the books… get the episode out or, or, or I wont buy The Rookie when it hits Amazon. Yes, you read me right. Yipee, you did well. Now pull it together and get us our fix!
You have managed to exceed the capacity of Amazon to deliver the book on time. I ordered my copy at 9:01 on April 1st and a couple of days later got an e-mail that they couldn’t deliver the book in the time framework quoted. I had to go back and reauthorize the purchase with the later delivery date. This is one time that something like this doesn’t make me angry. It means that demand exceeded supply. Hopefully someone is listening.
