A special present for my Junkies, presented by Podshow and Podango, I debuted the intro of “EarthCore II: Mt. Fitzroy” at the Portable Media Expo (PME). The first voice you hear is Lee Gibbons of Podango, who hosted a booth at the PME and gave several podcasters a chance to talk to a live audience. That’s right, folks, the intro to EarthCore II - and you have to wait a YEAR to hear the rest! Does it sting? Does it? Gosh, I hope so …

Wooooooooah Scott way to go!! That was an awesome teaser! I swear that, that little teaser was better than some books! I loved what (and who!!) was in it. I have a question for ya. Do you have any plans to release more teasers, trailers… duirng the coming weeks and months regarding both this book as well as any future novels?

I can’t wait for EC2 to launch. I will forgive you for writing fiction about rocktopi and other crawly stuff, but a “suitcase nuke” of the kind described will NOT have a yield of half a megaton. That’s for the big ICBM’s. A more realistic yield in a man-portable device will range from 0.5-10 kilotons, and that’s still plenty of power. Just so you know.
